Amanda Cherry, MA, LCMHC

Amanda is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and National Certified Counselor.

She specializes in helping adults who struggle with difficult life transitions, high stress/crisis, conflict, depression, anxiety as well as women's issues.

Amanda has expertise in treating addictions; both substance and process addictions. 

She is a person-centered/CBT therapist that approaches each client with empathy and compassion while providing a welcoming space for individuals to feel validated and empowered. 

Amanda utilizes several modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), that help clients move past traumas or present distress due to memories or experiences that leave negative emotions, beliefs, and distressing physical sensations.

Amanda has been married for over 30 years with 3 adult children and 2 grandchildren.
